Where Does Social Anxiety Come From?
Share

Connection is part of human nature. It’s as basic of a need as food, water, and shelter.

Your friends always want to plan get-togethers, brunches, lunches, dinners, shopping, movies, coffee dates, and more. And it isn’t just your friends. Your family members want to plan family gatherings, reunions, and meals together as well.

While you enjoy hanging out with your loved ones, your internal battery seems to plummet regarding social engagements. You need your alone time to rest, recharge, and recuperate.

At times, you wish you had the energy and craving for social interaction as much as your family and friends. If you’re being honest, you tend to get a little anxious when it comes to being social. Your family and friends aren’t like this, and you’re starting to wonder why you’re so different from them.

Let’s learn more about where social anxiety comes from.
